Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year - one that we hope will be filled with great opportunities for learning, growth, and memories!
The High School PTO would like to welcome you, and let you know that the PTO has no fundraising activities; however, through the generous support of our families, we have historically been able to offer activities and programs that would not otherwise be available.
Some of these opportunities have included items such as: e-News, Breakfast of Champions, Prom Coach busses, TV’s for the Lobby & Counseling areas, Senior scholarships, staff requests, field trip funding, classroom support technology & resource materials, hospitality events, and new FR banners welcoming campus visitors!
One of the most beneficial opportunities for parents/guardians is an electronic version of school news and activities called the “FRHS e-News” offered through Constant Contact®. Weekly emails are sent to each family requesting the service (with any donation to the PTO). These weekly emails are brief, and are nice “one-stop-shopping” reminders for descriptions of upcoming school events & information pertaining to the many different high school activities.
(not just PTO news items).
A donation of any amount to the PTO enables you to receive this valuable correspondence.
Without your help, we cannot offer this service, or support your students with programs they have so richly enjoyed.
If you would like to make a donation to the PTO, please complete the bottom part of this form and mail it to the address listed.
Your voluntary donation is tax exempt under Section 501c of the Internal Revenue Code.
As always, thank you for your continued support. The students & faculty could not enjoy and benefit from these opportunities without your help!

FR Backpacks-to-Go Program
The “Backpacks-to-Go” Program is sponsored by our Franklin Regional community which includes our PTO, teachers, students and their families, and area friends. The program is coordinated by the school counselors. We will provide a backpack filled with easy-to-prepare meals and snacks for weekends to our children. This program was developed in response to ongoing student needs with no weekend access to the school breakfast and/or lunch program.
How Can You Support the “Backpack-to-Go” Program to help our children?
Please donate the food items (in non-glass containers) listed below! Our goal is to collect wholesome meals and snacks that a child can prepare themselves if necessary. Monetary or gift card donations (from Walmart, Giant Eagle, or Shop n Save) are welcome if you prefer us to shop for you. Check can be made out to Backpacks Program and are tax deductible. Donations will support students in grades k through 12 and will be received anytime during school hours and may be left with the High School counseling center. THANK YOU for your support!
