Art Portfolio ‐ A Co‐ed overnight art camp is a 4 day intensive program to aid in establishing a body of work in portfolio preparation. The goal of the program is to expose students to a variety of media, to allow for exploration of personal art themes, and to provide a sound foundation in the vocabulary of art related pursuits.

Astronomy‐ Students enjoy a mix of night and daytime activities involving extensive use of the observatory’s telescope and electronics.

Ceramic & Glass Engineering‐ Students participate in exciting hands on lab experiences in ceramic processing and tape casting, and glass melting and press forming, working alongside faculty.

Consumer Chemistry‐ This program will help answer various questions about the chemistry of foods, toys, and household products. You will discover how to interpret the ingredients lists of your favorite foods and products while learning some basic chemistry.

Computer Camp‐This camp offers computing experiences for both basic and advanced students concentrating on essential computing concepts, programming, and web development.

Creative Writing‐ This camp provides an introduction to a variety of genres; poetry, short fiction, creative notification, and drama.

Equestrian‐ This is a weeklong overnight camp that accommodates hunt seat riding based on the gifts and needs of the participants. Campers have lots of fun, refine their skills, and have plenty of time to get to know the horses and each other.

Equine Business Institute‐ This program is designed to provide an excellent opportunity to learn more about the horse industry as a business and all concepts that entails from riding to caring for the horses and will end with a full day at a local county farm.

Robotics‐ This dynamic program is based on the VEX Robotics System which offers an exciting platform for learning about areas rich with career opportunities spanning science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Swimming‐ This exciting, weeklong, co‐ed camp is designed to enhance the technical aspects of stroke, training, and the strategies needed for each camper to compete at the top level of competitive swimming.

Theatre‐ The program provides each participant with opportunities for progress in theatre. There is range, choice, and growth for everyone.

 
 
     The Pennsylvania School for Global Entrepreneurship (PSGE) at Lehigh University held July 2 - July 29, 2017 and the University of Pittsburgh Health Scholars Academy (UPHCSA) held on June 25 - July 22, 2017, former Governor's School programs, are accepting applications for the 2017 summer programs.  Current high school sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply. Deadline for submitting applications is February 15, 2017 but students are encouraged to apply early.
